Find The Button
A downloadable game
A 3D platformer prototype where the main goal is to search for a button that unlocks the next level. This is not a full on complete "game", but rather a prototype that focuses on exploration, puzzle-solving, and platforming elements, with each level becoming progressively more challenging as the player navigate through different environments to find the hidden button. The gameplay offers a simple but engaging mechanic that keeps players motivated as they unlock new areas and progress through the game.
The game features my plague doctor character, "PatchWork", as the protagonist, The project is being developed on a shoestring budget and I am not a game developer. I am a giant goober. The game focuses on tight platforming mechanics and "creative" level designs rather than complex visual assets. As an example the player-character is my character "PatchWork", but as a bean-creature with a mask instead of a plague doctor.

Hi Patches, hi "D"! Very cool to see what you two are coming up with, the tech demo was fun (even though I am very bad at platformers/parkour). Keep up the good work! Can't wait to see what other games y'all come up with :)
Thank you! Myself and another development partner are making a game called "Chalkstorm".
https://gofund.me/c24175fb
There's a gofund me for it here; it's a 2D endless wave survival game where a rain drop is fighting off a sea of chalk themed enemies. We're going to be releasing the first version on November 1st, 2024.
We're releasing the game (just like this prototype here) regardless if we get any funding which the experience right now will just be a single level with basic enemies and basic mechanics, but should we reach our funding goal we're wanting to do 10 unique levels, 25 unique enemies, and a dedicated music track per level.
I have a https://patchworkexe.carrd.co/ for all my links.
I AM NOT A GAME DEVELOPER.
yet
This is a tech-demo/prototype made by myself and my game-dev partner is who is choosing to go uncredited (why? I don't know - he just opted out of it).I thought about naming him here, but that would defeat the whole purpose of not being credited so let's just call him "D" - everyone say hi "D".
I'm learning as we go and this is my full first completed "project" let's call it.
